Jedi Brash Pilot
Background: Both of Khalida San's parents are deceased. Her parents were Jedi; rare that they were married, but this was not unheard of
amongst the Jedi of the Old Republic. Khalida's parents petitioned the Jedi council and after much deliberation on the council's part they were allowed to marry. Khalida
was born a short two years later. Although her parents were both strong in the force Khalida didn't start to exhibit force ability until she reached her late teens. By this
time the maximum age to enter the academy had come and gone.
Knowing Khalida would never enter the Jedi Academy her parents began to teach her in secret. They both knew if the council found out both would be expelled from the Jedi
Order. As Khalida had already shown aptitude for flight and tinkering her parents decided to skip the regular order of training and hone her abilities in air and space combat.
During the latter end of the Clone Wars Khalida (turning 20) joined the Zeltronian Militia and quickly made a name for herself in her first few engagements shooting down 5 separatist fighters. As the war
raged on she managed to accrue many more kills quickly moving up the ranks and proving that she was indeed a starfighter ace. During one battle in the local system she
felt her father's death. This feeling nearly overwhelmed her and Khalida nearly got shot down. At the end of the battle she realized she had to accept life without her
father, but still fought on with skill and determination to make her parents proud.
Her mother had been assigned as a Jedi Healer at the temple on Coruscant. Communications between Khalida and her mother were infrequent, but living a soldier's life became
the norm. Only six months later she felt her mother's death at the hands of the Empire. Feeling lost and alone for the first time in her life she sank into depression and
drowned her sorrows with alcohol for the period of a year.
On the anniversary of her mother's death she was visited by both her parents. At first she thought she was hallucinating but soon realized that, if they were only a dream,
that it wouldn't matter what she said or did. They did not vanish as expected so Khalida talked with them and shared how lonely she had become. The two "ghost" parents
relayed to her that never again would she be alone and that she could call on them when in dire need. They also suggested she travel to their ancestral home on Zeltron and
locate certain "gifts" stored there.
Upon arriving, having forced herself sober, Khalida started her search in the home she had grown up in. For several hours the young pilot dug through box, crate and container
with no success. She sat down, confused and tired. ~Why am I here~ she thought? She continued her search and eventually located a secret panel inside her own closet. She
discovered a small elongated box with decorative designs throughout. The lock opened as she touched it. The her surprise and amazement she found a special holocron ring,
lightsabre, a sizeable sum of credits and a datapad with thoughts and other personal information from her parents, including a basic description of how to access the contents
of the holocron. As Khalida prepared to leave her mother appeared once again giving her encouragement and love. She also stated that, if she needed help, there were many
others out there who could be trusted if given the chance. If she trusted to the Force she would know who they were.

Empathy: Zeltron feel other people’s emotions as if they were their own. Therefore, they receive a -1D

Description: The BlasTech DL-44 LE was a limited edition variant of the DL-44 that was only sold in extremely small numbers (1,064 to be
exact). The internal mechanics were revised slightly, giving the weapon as much punch as BlasTech's T-21 light repeater. However, the
added punch required a lot more power, limiting the DL-44 LE to only ten shots per power clip. The only stronger blaster pistol currently
being manufactured is BlasTech's T-6 Thunderer (6D+2), which is being sold more openly and can readily be found in most major cities.
Physically, one cannot tell the standard DL-44 from the DL-44 LE with a simple glance. The only notable difference in appearance is the
production number, which is engraved in small numbers on the bottom of the handle.
Collectors are eager to pay large sums of credits for any of the first fifty DL-44 LEs to be produced (copies 0001 through 0050), as they
make an excellent addition to any weapon collection.

Holocron Ring Notes: Due to size, ring is limited to 1/30th of the capacity of a standard holocron. Also functions as Force Mask (+3D added to target number required

Combat Medpac: The unit is attached to a hookup point on the wearers' thigh and monitors the pilots' condition, automatically injecting

If successful, the damage from that attack is reduced by half before it is applied against her ship's Hull rating. A Starfighter ace can attempt a single Starfighter Evasion
check once per round.
