Description:
All Vegan stand about 1.2 - 1.4 meters tall, with a slender, extremely flexible body covered with creamy fur. Their large
prominent eyes have nictitatitng membranes. Their hands have have six fingers, all of which are mutually opposing. Vegans are
quick and agile, and although they are not physically strong, their bodies are able to sustain massive damage without dying.
The Vegan language is musical, ranging low to very high frequencies. They are able to convey the meaning of their words to
beings who do not understand Vegan and to understand other languages by means of strong empathy bordering on telepathy.
Habitat:
Vegans developed on the fifth planet circling the thar Vega. The planet's atmosphere is oxygen-based, but with a high level
of ozone and nitrous oxide. Vega is a bright star, bathing its planets with high radiation and intense light.
Culture:
Because of their high levels of empathy for other species, Vegans seek out and try to correct species that infringe on the rights
of others.
Special Abilities:
Accute Vision Because of their large eyes, Vegan's can see minute details similar to the
Verpine. They get to add +2D to all Search rolls either close-up or great distance.
Accute Hearing: The ears are just as accute as the eyes so they gain +2D to hear any sound.
Empathic: Vegan's have the natural ability to sense emotions of all types. This also
includes the ability to detect if a being is lying or truthful. This ability fuctions similarly to the Jedi powers of Receptive
Telepathy and Projective Telepathy.
Bonding: As empathic beings Vegan's have the ability to bond with a chosen mate. This
process takes several days of contact and eventually sets up a telepathic bond allowing the two beings to communicate
telepathically over any distance.
Damage Resistance: Because of their redundant organs, Vegan's can sustain a wound of -5D
and recover fully without time in a bacta tank. Natural healing takes 2/3rd's the normal time if they are able to rest for the
duration. They heal normally with light activity.
Special Skills:
Perception: Because the Vegan are so aware of their surroundings, they get +1D to all
Initiative rolls and Surprise rolls.
