Description:
The galaxy at large did not even know if Morseerian was the real name of the species because of very limited exposure with them,
but for now that is what the species is called, or at least dubbed.
Morseerians are a multi-armed species hailing from the Unknown Regions. Some reports state that they are a client people of the
Drackmarians of Quelii Sector. Unlike most sentinent life, Morseerians breathed methane. Morseerians had semitransparent bodies,
except for the head and hands, which bare a dark green or brown coloration. Internal organs are visible through their odd skin.
Their elongated heads feature large, black, pupilless eyes, a small nose, and a thin, triangle-shaped mouth.
When found offworld, Morseerians are usually seen in jumpsuits bearing gas masks that give them the precious methane they
need to survive. They usually fly ships that support methane environments, much to the chagrin of their oxygen-breathing
counterparts.
Special Abilities:
Ambidextrous: Morseerians can use any of their four hands with equal skill, and suffer no
off-hand penalties.
Multi-limbed: Morseerians have four arms and can use them all at the same time. Penalties
for multiple actions still apply.
Sharp-Eyed: Morseerians gain a +2 bonus to all Search skill checks involving sight.
Special Skills:
Methane-breather: If removed from a methane-rich atmosphere for more than six rounds, a
Morseerian must make a Moderate Strength check or go unconscious. Each round thereafter, the difficulty increases by +3. Once
unconscious, the Morseerian will take one level of damage per round unless returned to a methane-rich atmosphere.
Secretive: Morseerians will never, under any circumstances, reveal the location of their
homeworld, nor have many been seen outside of an environment suit, making their appearance a matter of conjecture.
