Description:
Hysalrians were a species of four-armed serpent-like sentients. They are very intelligent and nearly 98% are born Force Sensative.
Because of this fact, they have established special schools to train their young on their homeworld. This training lasts for at
least 200 years, but may continue for several thousand based on the needs of the off-spring. The length of schooling may seem
long, but the extended life span of the species requires this training in order to endure the many long years ahead. In fact, the
oldest member of the species, as recorded in their history books, lived to be 14,893 years old.
The only known example of a Hysalrian was Jedi Master N'Kata Del Gormo who trained a young Yoda in the ways of the Force on an
unknown swamp world. According to Yoda he was 9752 years old when the then, Padawan Yoda, began his instruction.
The reproductive cycle for the Hysalrian is extremely slow. The females give birth once in their lifetime and only once they have
reached 3000 years of age. They are actually born pregnant, but unable to give birth until completely mature. This always happens
at exactly 3000 years. The only redeeming factor in this is that they always give birth to at least 6-10 off-spring.
Mezomak is an extremely well hidden swamp planet. So well hidden, in fact, that Yoda is the only non-Hysalrian to ever discover
the planet. No other species or being has ever managed to locate it. This fact alone is what has kept them safe for eons.
