Description:
This species is descended from reptilian anscestors, which gave them the brow ridges and those running down their back. The
difference is that they lost their tail in the process of progression.
The Grumsh have developed space technology and hyperdrive technology on their own over 8000 years ago, 3500 years before they were
discovered by Republic scouts.
Their attitude about other species is one of contempt. They are superior and view all others as weak and useless. However, there
are a few that do not believe this way, but they are, once discovered, put into jail, sold as slaves or outright killed. Because
of this they keep to themselves and try to get off the planet as quickly as they can by any means available.
The hunting skills of the grumsh rival those of the rodians and the gand as they are voracious carnivors by nature. Though they
lack the special rituals the gand use to track prey, they are just as good at it.
Special Abilities:
Ultraviolet Vision: Grumsh can see in the ultraviolet spectrum.
Grumsh Hunting: Grumsh are so good at tracking prey they always gain +2D to the skill
roll. Even if the trail is several days old they have a very good chance of finding it.
Exoskeleton: Grumsh have a thick layer of skin that is often mistaken for an exoskeleton.
This 'skin' adds +1D to resist Physical damage and +1 against Energy damage.
Special Skill:
(A) Martial Arts: Grumsh All Grumsh are trained in a specialized form of combat developed
the species many millennia ago. The tenets of the art are complex and misunderstood, but the few that have been described often
make use of the unique Grumsh biology. The Grumsh can add +2D to this skill against those that do not have the advanced skill
of Martial Arts in any form. They can add +1D against those that have Martial Arts, and get no bonus if they have somehow learned
(A) Martial Arts: Grumsh.
