Description:
This species hails from a distant sector somewhere past the Kathol Rift. They, and only they know that route through the Rift to get to their home planet (GM: No, it is not the one listed in the Kathol Adventure books). The Ginchanian are a very tough, hardy race and have developed their own version of hyperdrives and sublight engines. They are however, right on par with galactic standard drives.

They are social creatures by nature and support large family tribal units, but also support a rigid command structure that runs by pure logic. The only thing more advanced then their tactics is their weapons development.

Weapons are a logical development to protect the home world as they have had to do so many times in the past. In fact, all weapons the Ginchanians carry are slightly better than galactic standard. In game terms, add +2 to damage, +20% to range, +25% to ammo capacity and +1D to the Body rating of the weapon to resist damage.

All male members of the species join the military and learn how to build and repair all weapons, armor and other pieces of equipment used in a battle. About half of those also learn how to fly and repair ships and their weapons.
